What is a data point?
A data point is an individual signal or measurement collected from your equipment, such as temperature, pressure, motor speed or energy consumption.
How much does Datchi cost?
Datchi has three cost components: once-off installation and setup, a monthly subscription based on connected data points, and professional services where additional customisation is required.
Does the cost per data point decrease as I scale?
Yes. Datchi offers volume-based pricing, with lower rates per data point at higher quantities. Larger implementations can be quoted individually.
Are there any hidden costs?
Your quotation identifies the applicable setup, subscription, hardware and professional service charges, so you can review the costs before proceeding.
Can my monthly subscription change?
Your subscription depends on your agreed package and connected data points. Any changes to your requirements or pricing would be handled in accordance with your agreement.
How do annual increases work?
Datchi's pricing is reviewed annually on a predetermined date. Additional adjustments may apply during the year if infrastructure, hosting or operational costs increase significantly. Customers will be notified in advance of any changes.

What is included in the setup fee?
The starting package is based on 100 data points and includes two dashboards with up to 30 widgets per dashboard. Connection, configuration, hardware and site-specific work are assessed and itemised in your quotation.
Do I need to purchase additional hardware?
This depends on your existing infrastructure, number of sites and connectivity. Datchi will assess whether gateways, data loggers or other equipment are required.
How long does installation take?
Implementation time depends on your site, available data, connectivity and integration requirements. An estimated timeline is provided during project scoping.
Platform & flexibility
Can I add more data points later?
Yes. Datchi is designed to scale with your operation. Additional data points can be accommodated, subject to your selected package and any required configuration changes.
Can I use Datchi across multiple sites?
Datchi can support multiple sites within one solution. Connectivity, setup requirements and commercial arrangements are confirmed during scoping.
Are the number of dashboards and users limited?
The standard starting setup includes two dashboards with up to 30 widgets each. Additional dashboard design is scoped separately. User access is unlimited.
Can Datchi connect to my existing PLCs and SCADA systems?
Datchi is designed to integrate with industrial data sources. Compatibility and connection requirements are assessed for your specific systems.
